Week 13

This week in clinicals has been uneventful, I was going to see a wrist exam ( first one), but the lady cancelled. I am learning allot of spine work of course, and brains, I have not seen much of lower extremity work but I still have time. I do feel like in x-ray it's all beginning to click to me and by next semester I'll won't have as much trouble checking off on procedures. The tech who is training me is very strick, Friday I was trying for a cervical and because I right clicked in the wrong box she wouldn't give it to me, but you know I really like that because I feel if I get a competency on a procedure I know I have done something.

CLINICALS

My experiences these past couple of weeks has been about the same. I did a thoracic spine on a young lady I did very well and I was pleased with myself, but I couldn't get check off on in because I didn't let the tech know from the beginning. The check-off I did try on a knee I thought I was ready and I messed up right from the start so I didn't even ask. I still think MR is the coolest modality in our field.
